On August 12, 2006, after 30+ years of bow-building, Mr. Robert Thompson retired from the day-to-day bow building duties at Zipper Manufacturing. Although no longer making bows, Bob will continue to build guitars, pool cues and rifles the same way he developed and built the Zipper bow… hand crafted… custom made… one at a time.

Mr. Thompson is pleased to announce that his skilled apprentice, Mr. Bill Dunn, has taken over all bow-building operations at Zipper Manufacturing.

Both bowyers agree that in life, there are some things that should never change, so although Zipper Manufacturing will move its day-to-day bow-building operations from West Virginia to Ohio, you can still expect the same adherence to quality, artistic excellence, and personal service of which you have become accustomed to.

So, feel free to give Bill or Tracy Dunn a call, and discuss what you want in and on your new Zipper Bow!
